A tourist gem within easy reach!
This season, a water tram will operate from Szczecin to Gartz via Mescherin, allowing you to discover the picturesque landscapes of the Lower Oder Valley.
The cruise on the Szczecin – Mescherin – Gartz route is a unique journey through one of the most valuable natural areas of the Polish-German border region. From the deck of the vessel, you will have the opportunity to admire the remarkable landscapes of the Międzyodrze wetlands and the vast floodplains of the Lower Oder Valley.
During the cruise, you may spot cranes, white-tailed eagles, herons, and cormorants, as well as unique aquatic vegetation and extensive reed beds that create this exceptional landscape. Binoculars will be available on board, allowing for more comfortable wildlife observation and an even better appreciation of the Lower Oder Valley’s natural beauty.
Exploring from the vessel will be enhanced by the Explore Oder app. As the ship approaches selected points of interest, an audio guide will provide information about attractions in Polish, German, and English. Disposable headphones for mobile devices (3.5 mm jack connector) will be available on board.
Discover the Lower Oder Valley from the deck of a vessel or by bicycle.
