Sail Szczecin 2026: Albert Johannes

The history of Albert Johannes dates back to 1928, when she left the shipyard as a two-masted schooner equipped with an engine. For decades, she served as a cargo vessel, transporting goods between ports of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. In the 1980s, she underwent a major reconstruction – a third mast was added, transforming her into an elegant three-masted gaff schooner designed for passenger voyages.

Today, she is one of the most active training and charter vessels in Northern Europe. Thanks to her stability and large deck area, Albert Johannes provides excellent conditions for learning sail handling and for team building under a shared mast.
